Jewett City Savings Bank President & CEO, Michael Alberts has announced that the Bank has donated to the Brooklyn Schools PTO and Brooklyn Cares Community Center.
Both organizations were each awarded $1,250 through the Bank’s Checking for Charity campaign as part of its Brooklyn 50th Anniversary Celebration. Additionally, the Brooklyn Cares Community Center received donations of non-perishable food items and personal care items collected during the celebration’s food drive.
“Both the Brooklyn Schools PTO and Brooklyn Cares Community Center are instrumental non-profit organizations within the community. It was an honor to celebrate our branch’s historic milestone while giving back to some of the important organizations within the town,” said Alberts.
