The Jewett City Savings Bank Foundation is now accepting 2024 grant applications from local 501(c)(3), 170(c)(1), and other qualified non-profit organizations in the communities served by Jewett City Savings Bank.
Established in 2004, the Foundation was created for the support and benefit of community, charitable, educational, and other benevolent purposes. In 2023, the Jewett City Savings Bank Foundation provided more than 70 grants totaling $96,211 to local non-profits that provide health, social and emergency services, and in support of food pantries, libraries, and arts and culture. The Foundation has donated more than $1.2 million since its establishment.
“It is a privilege to be able to assist local non-profits as they support the communities where our neighbors live and work,” said Michael Alberts, President of the Jewett City Savings Bank Foundation.
The grant application and guidelines can be found on JCSBank.com and completed applications must be received no later than August 31, 2024. Funding will be awarded by December 31, 2024, and applicants will be notified by mail.
